Janssen Global Services, L.L.C. (JGS), one of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Director Oncology-Hematology Global Pricing within the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO). This position is to be based out of the Raritan, NJ or Horsham, PA office locations.

The Director Global Pricing provides expertise and leads the development and implementation of Global Pricing strategy and policies for Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Oncology-Hematology pharmaceutical products, to maximize access and optimize revenue. The role will partner with regional and operating company pricing representatives to ensure that new products' relevant pricing requirements are identified. In collaboration with Market Access, the director of pricing ensures local payer perspectives are included in clinical and commercial strategies to deliver aligned pricing strategies and policies that support timely reimbursement for each product and its indications.
Exceptional partnering abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build alignment and influence across internal functions, geographies, J&J regions, and operating companies will lead to successful performance in this assignment. This individual must have the technical skills and personal leadership to succeed in a matrix leadership role at the interface of the global and local-regional commercial organizations in pricing strategy development and implementation.
The selected candidate must communicate ideas clearly to management and drive and align on pricing recommendations.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Lead Global Pricing governance activities for assigned products
- Leading pricing/payer research studies to help inform the development of pricing strategies
- Monitor competitors ensuring pricing strategies account for anticipated competitor activity
- Work with early-stage pipeline Market Access on providing payer perspective into the evolving clinical development program that will enable timely reimbursement with an optimized price upon launch
- Partner with Regulatory, Commercial, and Market Access to optimize filing launch sequencing plan
- Monitor ongoing changes in pricing policies across the globe, adjusting pricing strategies and policies to account for these changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience in a global, multi-cultural or multi-country environment is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience developing pharmaceutical pricing policies or related market access experience required
- A robust in-depth understanding of the payer market (such as experience in preparation of negotiation strategies) is required
- Experience working with Europe, US, and/or Asia PAC regulatory government bodies is preferred.
- Prior experience in the Oncology therapeutic area is preferred.
- Strong strategic, analytic, networking and negotiation skills are required.
- Ability to navigate and influence in a complex, global organization is required.
- Strong team leadership skills are required.
- Travel up to 25%, both domestic and international

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $142,000 - $244,950
- The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
