Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Unified Communications (UC) Programs to oversee the planning, implementation, and management of our organization's Unified Communications strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications and a proven track record of successfully selling UC solutions.
Reporting Structure: The Director of Unified Communications (UC) Programs will report directly to the Vice President of Advanced Solutions - CX and collaborate closely with other senior leaders within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Revenue Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive UC strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes but is not limited to managing revenue programs associated with technology advisors and suppliers.
- Training and Adoption: Develop training programs and materials to facilitate the adoption of UC tools and technologies across the Telarus partner community.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of UC technologies, such as VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools. Provide guidance on the selection and integration of UC platforms where applicable.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate, select, and manage third-party products and services related to UC, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and support to achieve project milestones and objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure strategy success. Monitor and resolve issues that may impact UC initiatives and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate UC plans, progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders within Telarus.

- Telarus Internal: Executive Management, Sales AVPs, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, International, Operations and Partner Support Managers, Supplier Management, Marketing, Finance, Project Management, Account Management
- External: Telarus National Partner Community, Supplier, and Vendor communities
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership, product leadership, or like roles
- Bachelor's degree required, marketing or business-related field preferred.
- Demonstration of successful sales record
- An ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
- An innate drive to innovation and growth
- Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
The position is remote. Our company headquarters is located in Sandy, Utah.
