We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Training to lead our training initiatives and ensure that our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver top-quality restoration services.
Summary/objective
As the Director of Training, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of our training programs. You will play a crucial role in equipping our employees with the expertise and skills needed to respond effectively to disaster restoration situations. This role requires a blend of hands-on restoration experience, training expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in our industry.

- Training Program Development:** Develop and maintain a comprehensive training program that covers all aspects of disaster restoration, including water, fire, mold, and other disaster recovery services.
- Curriculum Design:** Create and update training materials, manuals, and course content to ensure they align with industry best practices and company standards.
- Training Delivery:** Conduct training sessions for employees, ensuring that each team member receives adequate instruction on safety protocols, equipment usage, and restoration techniques.
- Certification Management:** Oversee certification and licensing requirements for employees and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Continuous Improvement:** Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and new technologies to improve training programs continually.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness:** Implement evaluation mechanisms to measure the effectiveness Of Training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including operations, and HR, to align training efforts with the company"s goals and initiatives.
- Budget Management:** Develop and manage the training department budget, ensuring cost-effective training solutions.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Participates in weekly production meetings
- Utilizes DASH, Encircle, Slack, XactAnalysis and other Required Programs
- Coaching to monthly production goals
- Monitors performance data; anticipating, preventing, and solving problems
- Communicates with Management and Administrative Office Daily
- Assists in reviewing projects to ensure quality of work
- Fields customer questions & concerns, resolving all issues, working with appropriate staff
- Representing the company at industry events and associated groups as required

Prolonged periods of sitting in vehicles and at a desk
Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
Prolonged periods of exposure to noise created by power tools, equipment and heavy machinery
Exposure to standard work site environments

Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required
Required education and experience
- 3-5 years experience as a lead trainer and/or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in disaster restoration, with a minimum of [X] years in a supervisory or management role.
- Certification in disaster restoration (e.g., IICRC certification)
- Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
Preferred education and experience
- OSHA Training & Certifications
- Bachelor"s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Disaster Management, Education, or a related discipline).
