Job Description
The Athletic Department has an opening for a Director of Tennis, Women's Head Tennis Coach.
Responsibilities include administering all facets of the women’s tennis program such as recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, travel, practices, care of facilities, public and media relations, and complying with all NAIA, conference/league, and institutional regulations and policies. Additional oversight and direction for the men’s tennis program is included in this list of responsibilities for this director’s position as well.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
- Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian college dedicated to educating men and women to impact our world for Christ
- Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred
- Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
- Excellent communications skills
- Demonstrated administrative and supervisory skills
- Commitment to continuous process improvement
- Previous coaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Commitment to an NAIA program of intercollegiate athletics
- Evidence of communication, managerial, organizational, and coaching skills
