We are seeking a Director of Talent and Administration to support the business by overseeing various recruiting, human resources, and administrative responsibilities at our location. This Director reports directly to the Executive Director and Owner/Operator. The Director of Talent & Administration must have a genuine heart to serve others, be highly organized, and have the ability to multitask and work efficiently.
Pay Type:
• Starting at $22+/hour, commensurate with availability and experience

Requirements:
• Demonstrates the highest level of trust with personal and financial information
• Exceptional organization - systematically maintains records, files, information, and schedules
• Self-motivated and disciplined
• Positive attitude
• Expert communicator (phone/email/in person)
• Adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
• Strong computer skills (MS Office and Google Workspace)
• Ideally has experience with HR procedures, or HR certification (PHR, SHRM, etc.)
Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes recruitment strategy and leads all recruitment efforts
• Manages all job postings and all utilized career boards
• Conducts phone screenings with all applicants, utilizing scorecard system and schedules in-person interviews for applicants that meet screening criteria
• Serves as point person for communication for all job offers and rejections with Director Team and applicants who interview
• Extends job offers and manages onboarding process and paperwork via job applicant system and digital personnel records
• Ensures proper compliance with all state, federal, and I-9 standards
• Oversees HR Specialist/HR Manager to ensure excellent execution of onboarding and orientation
• Runs payroll process bi-weekly and distributes payroll checks for non-direct deposit team members
• Maintains an adequate on-hand uniform inventory, ensuring financial stewardship and adherence to uniform budget each month
• Partners with Owner/Operator and Executive Director to help create an exceptional workplace, including wage scale reviews, benefit strategy, annual growth path review, retirement plan administration, performance review process, stay interviews, celebrations, team-building activities, etc
• Manages mileage reimbursement tracker, PTO accrual and leave trackers, personnel files, documentation processes, time punches, etc.
• Leads execution of termination checklist and process
• Ensures on time and accurate payment of all store invoices online, over the phone, via Check Writer, and by mail
• Acquires basic knowledge of restaurant operations and supports in restaurant operations as needed
