The Role:
High Peak is a small but growing organization with evolving needs and is seeking a multifaceted individual to serve as Head of Strategy/Chief of Staff to collaborate closely with the CEO to drive both tactical and strategic agendas. In this cross-functional role, you will work closely with leadership on various critical initiatives, including (but not limited to) go-to-market strategy, objectives and key results, operations, and stakeholder management.

A tenacious management leader with the ability to support and execute programs by leveraging people, process, technology, and data to achieve desired business results. You are a motivated self-starter who enjoys working collaboratively to optimally deliver and deploy top executive initiatives from strategy through to execution. You possess capabilities in the areas of problem solving, critical thinking, business analysis, executive-level communication, and capacity planning.
You will:

  • General management: A versatile extension, advisor, and liaison to the CEO sharing a to-do list to complete priorities on any given day or week, while working on strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive company culture by partnering with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth coordination and strategic alignment across operations, marketing, technology, and sales.
  • Strategic Leadership: Analyze complex ideas, business cases and organizational ideas to develop, communicate, and implement critical initiatives in alignment with High Peak's overall vision and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and market disruptions to identify potential growth opportunities and threats.
  • Operations Management: Play a crucial role in ensuring the company's operations run smoothly and efficiently. Act as a resourceful problem solver finding creative solutions to various challenges. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and provide timely guidance and support across different tasks.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish program to track company and individual performance against objectives and key results. Drive the creation and management of business management dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external partners, including clients, to gather feedback and drive continuous improvements. Continuously optimize the dynamics, communication, and alignment of our remote team. Build materials for and coordinate management and board meetings.

Skills:
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in strategy advancement and project/program management. Prior management consulting in technology, financial services and/or insurance preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Master's/MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of driving successful critical initiatives, experience orchestrating complex business activities with a tenacious business sense and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with outstanding analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of the industry landscape, including regulatory environment, technology trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment, able to adjust between priorities and work autonomously. Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
