Essential Job Functions:
- Overall responsibility for security on the riverboat and support facilities.
- Responsible for overseeing the training of Security personnel concerning IGC regulations and the Company’s internal control procedures.
- Formulates, implements, and enforces rules and regulations of the department.
- Hires and terminates security personnel.
- Reviews all accident/incident reports.
- Guest relations.
- Assists Boat Captain in emergency situations.
- Responsible for coordinating security efforts to properly safeguard assets aboard the riverboat and support facility.
- Responsible for all security policies and procedures as it applies to the accounting internal control procedures and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review and perform employee evaluations.
- Coordinates all third party claims, and monitors and tracks all insurance carrier adjusted claims.
- Posts accident/injury assessment and recommendations to correct safety concerns.
- Promotion and awareness of safety and compliance issues through continuous training, programs, notices, etc.
- Maintains routine reporting to directors of functional areas affected by safety issues.
- “Hands-on” correction of safety issues, training, and education.
- Stays abreast of OSHA changes and amends or develops appropriate compliance programs.
- Chairs Safety Committee.
- Assist legal counsel in risk-related investigations, as needed.
- Review security incident reports and monitor corrective actions implemented by departments pertaining to risk and safety issues.
- Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.

Job Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Three years management and supervisory; two years casino security.
- Education Required: College graduate BA or higher.
- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Computer skills.
- Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 1.
