Guardian Access Solutions is seeking a self-motivated, Director of Sales for our gates and access control divisions that brings experience from the industry. POSITION TITLE:
Director of Sales
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales is responsible for building relationships and identifying the prospect’s need for our products or services, specifically for access control equipment and systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Relationship building with new prospects and existing customers
  • Create and maintain a business plan for the assigned territory to maintain and or exceed sales, and profit goals
  • Identify, prioritize, and investigate new Vehicle and Pedestrian access controls, such as Automated Gates, CCTV, Card (RFID, Fobs, etc.) Readers, Systems Integration, Network Recorders, etc.
  • Completes jobsite visits with respective General Contractors, Property Management Representatives, Site Developer, and or owner to review and better understand what their needs are. Help them understand what options are available and recommend what might work best for them to ensure that the system sold, installed, maintained, meets, and exceeds their expectations
  • Ensures that proposals, contracts, pertinent documentation and paperwork are timely, accurate and complete
  • Coordinate and communicate installation timelines between the customer, internal installation team, and with all pertinent parties involved including other contractors
  • Follow up with customers during and after installations. Provide installation status updates and ensure that we have met their needs at completion
  • Regular attendance at work
  • Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Required:
    • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
    • 2-3 years prior outside sales experience
    • As a condition of employment, Guardian Access Solutions will conduct a background check and drug screen
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly
    • Ability to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals
    • Ability to read blueprints
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Industry experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a fast-paced environment and is subject to interruptions. Duties may require driving and sitting for long periods of time. Occasional need to drive a vehicle to other work locations.
