JOB SUMMARY:
As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Sales & Marketing will increase productivity, inspire, and motivate employees, and optimize our company’s market share. You will have tremendous opportunities to develop innovative policies and campaigns that shape the future of our organization. Ideal candidates for this role will be creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest Sales and Marketing techniques as well as tried-and-true practices.
REPORTS TO: Director, Operations & Finance/President
DIRECT REPORTS: New Business ERP Sales Consultants, New Business IT Sales Consultants, Customer Success Managers, Marketing Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee day-to-day sales of our Epicor ERP software and implementation services, Managed Services, Cybersecurity services, and IT hardware and software for new and existing clients
- Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting Sales and lead generation
- Stay up to date on current market trends
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to assess current projections, sales planning, and forecasting
- Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Collaborate with marketing manager to creatively reach more potential customers
- Work in a hands-on fashion, building the team—provide motivation, inspiration, and deal coaching
- Set the precedent for excellence through leading by example
- Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains daily timesheet and expense report entries and submits them accurately and timely
- Administrative duties to include scheduling and reporting to ensure adherence to company fiscal goals
- Implements new technology
- Other duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in technical sales management in a corporate setting

- Evidence of ability to innovate and implement change successfully
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Able to be persuasive and procure buy-in from upper management

- High level of proficiency in MS Office and general CRM software systems
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Ability to schedule for evening or weekend work occasionally
