Director Of Residences

Overview:
Private family looking to hire an experienced Director of Residences. The Director of Residences is a position in the principal’s household who will work directly with the Executive House Manager to plan and execute the overall management of the owner’s multiple properties; while protecting their security and privacy.
Responsibilities:
Vendor management
Overseeing maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior of properties
Construction management/project management; liaising with architects, designers, outside vendors and contractorsMaintaining all household calendars; scheduling household services and providing prior notification to the Executive Estate Manager
Log and maintain inventory of all valuables
Personal and household errands, handling of special requests; personal shopping, running errands
Help execute events at a variety of different levels
Caregiver of pets
Running day-to-day household operations
Daily walk-throughs of the interior and exterior of the properties including supervising; landscaping maintenance, pool/spa maintenance, pest/rodent control, A/C maintenance
and plumbingConduct routine property inspections and initiate repairs and/or corrective measures utilizing preferred vendors
Coordinate all vendor scheduled (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual) services including emergency maintenance.Year-round groundskeeping and routine heating/cooling system maintenanceEnsuring residences are always in pristine conditionAdditional duties as needed and requestedTraveling between the residences as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Estate Management or a Household Manager in private services.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries, standards and conduct and should be adaptable to the standards and desires of the principle.
Maintain a high level of trust, discretion, integrity and self-motivation.
Ability to work in a highly stressful and fast-paced environment where the utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion is required
Attentive to principals’ preferences and style
Prioritize executive tasks and multi-task effectively
Hands-on interior and exterior maintenance
Exceptional eye for detail and aesthetically minded
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Tech Savvy
Valid driver’s license required
Flexible scheduling with availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
