We are seeking an experienced therapist to join our team as the Director of Rehabilitation! Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus available!!

The Center Rehabilitation Manager (Director of Rehab) directs the daily operations of the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy disciplines in order to meet center and patient needs, MFNC’s fiscal requirements, and governmental regulations. The Center Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for program staffing, clinical and operational program development and performs clinical duties in licensed field, as necessary.

Preferred Requirements: Four year college degree in PT, OT, or ST

Licensure: Licensed and certified as required by state and federal law in the state where the center is located. (Refer to discipline specific job description for licensure and certification requirements).

Experience and/or Pre-requisites
Three or more years experience as a therapist.
Management experience or approval of the Administrator and Regional Rehabilitation Director required.

Skills and Abilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required Ability to successfully lead and develop a management team to achieve a diverse set of objectives. Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional and regulatory agents.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, repetitive pushing, pulling and grasping up to 50 pounds.

Occasional crawling, climbing, sitting and fine manipulation.

• Lifting requirements depend on the Type of Therapy License. If a Physical or Occupational Therapist: physical demands are Very Heavy.
• If a Speech-Language Pathologist: then physical demands are Medium.
• Very Heavy: Exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally. Exerts a in excess of 50 lbs. of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
• Medium: Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally. Exerts a up to 25 lbs. of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
