PositionSummary:
TheDirector of Quality Management has oversight and responsibility over allquality, risk management, and patient safety-related activities within theorganization. Directs the efforts of all the performance improvementinitiatives to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory standards,including national, state, CMS, DNV, and other agencies. He/She works withclinicians and administrators to improve overall patient safety and systemslevel outcomes. Responsible for the facility's quality, patient safety, andrisk management programs with an emphasis on patient safety, and harmreduction. Supports, promotes, and encourages a culture of safety throughoutthe organization.
MinimumQualifications:
- Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations (unrestricted) required
- 3 years of management experience in Nursing (acute care preferred) and/or Quality role
Desired:
- BSN Preferred
- Certification in Quality (CPHQ or HACP)
- Infection Prevention experience preferred
- Experience with NHSN and IRF QRP data preferred
- Experience includes primary responsibility for performance improvement activities regulatory compliance, infection control, and risk management activities.
