Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Director of Quality forCrisis Services and Zero Suicide is responsible for supporting CREOKS Crisis Services and the agency's implementation of the Zero Suicide Initiative. This includes:
- a. the identification, monitoring, and improving processes that support and enhance quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and clinical effectiveness of CREOKS' Crisis Services;
- b. the development of periodic and annual outcome reports to inform managers of the process improvement of CREOKS' Crisis Services and the Zero Suicide Initiative;
- c. oversees the Quality Assurance and Patient Safety Committee as well as ensuring the implementation of a committee recommendations;
- d. training staff on clinical processes and interventions to improve staff capacity to perform crisis and Zero Suicide practices according to CREOKS protocol;
- e. assist the Clinical Director for Crisis Services in the certification and ongoing certification of Crisis Services;
- f. responsible for URQA process for compliance with standards for Chapter 23 and 43A which dictates our crisis care continuum of care;
- g. participate in community crisis meetings and suicide prevention coalitions as directed;
- h. provide community education and training on Crisis Services and Zero prevention;
- i. provides clinical services as needed to include screening, assessments, crisis/suicide prevention EBPs, etc.
- j. participates in treatment team meetings as indicated by the Clinical Director for Crisis Services.
- k. Maintain the clinical records system in accordance with ODMHSAS, OHCA, CARF and CREOKS rules and regulations.
- l. To read and be knowledgeable of all current CREOKS policies and procedures.
- m. Maintain productivity averages of direct service to clientele as set by CREOKS for full time employment.
- n. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in a mental health related field.
- Must be fully licensed as an LPC, LMFT, LADC, or LCSW in the state of Oklahoma.
- Must have at least 3 years experience working in adult and children mental health.
- Knowledge of various treatment modalities especially for Crisis, suicide prevention treatment, and CAMS.
- Capability to work as part of a team.
- Core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders
- Excellent team building skills.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Preferred experience with direct work in Crisis Services and providing therapy to persons at risk for suicide.
- Preferred experience with other suicide prevention modalities such as DBT, CBT-SP.
