Director of Quality
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned:
- Guarantee that products are safe and airworthy.
- Ensure that only qualified products are permitted to ship to customers.
- Direct and mentor the Quality Managers at each site.
- Introduce synergies between sites by creating standard procedures and enhancing collaboration.
- Implement efficient processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements and FAA regulations.
- Provide oversight for customer audits, regulatory agency audits, AS9100 audits and other 3rd party audits.
- Introduce and manage impactful quality performance metrics.
- Develop quality improvement processes.
- Establish and monitor external and internal audits within the sites.
- Perform analysis of the maturity of the QMS(s), identify potential risk and drive improvement plans.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers and regulatory agencies through Quality compliance.
- Drive Continuous Improvement by facilitating actions to improve FPY, reduce scrap/rework and reduce warranty returns.
- MRB process ownership to include timely disposition and driving corrective actions
- Maintain daily inspection throughput to support shipping goals
- Drive process audits to reduce the quality rejections at inspection

Requirements:
- Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense industry and its regulations
- Expertise in QMS and process management
- Leadership capability especially in embarking in a share vision and empowering people
- Knowledge of Quality tools (measures in production, nonconformance, tracking, calibration, etc.)

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher. 15 years’ minimum experience in Quality or similar positions, with at least 7 years’ experience in a leadership role. Minimum 2 years’ experience in aerospace environment.
Employee may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
