Director of Quality Assurance – March 8, 2024
Job Description and Qualifications
· Lead the quality team and set the direction of Quality focused efforts
· Oversee Quality Management System and Documentation Control to ensure all ISO 9000 & QOS standards are met
· Lead 8D & %-why efforts / Handle all APQP / PFMEA documents and process improvement efforts
· Manage continual improvement program
· Act as primary vendor / customer liaison on all quality and customer compliance issues
· Oversee and actively participate in all internal and external auditing meetings and efforts
· Continually review and make appropriate improvements in the quality system, including inspection techniques, record keeping practices, communication efforts, etc.
· A BS degree in metallurgy, material science or equivalent with a minimum of five years of Quality Management Experience in a metal processing environment required.
· Must have intimate knowledge of a variety of metal processing and manufacturing methods including fabrication techniques, heat treating, plating, etc.
· Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities
· Must be proficient in the use of various office software such as Micro Soft Office programs
· Must be capable of using various office equipment such as printers and copiers
· This is a Salaried Exempt position often requiring more than 40 hours per week
· Some travel required
Salary Range:
· $85,000 - $110,000
