Job Summary:
The Director of Performance & Quality improvement plays a crucial leadership role in enhancing organizational efficiency, effectiveness, Quality Improvement and organizational compliance and accreditation. This role requires a highly focused, detail-oriented, hands-on, analytical thinker who has a passion for driving positive change. Exceptional organizational skills, Quality Improvement experience and strong performance management skills are critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Performance Management and Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive performance management plan with focus on measurement, assessment, and improvement of processes in alignment with strategic goals and objectives across the organization.
- Collaborate with program directors and managers to establish key performance indicators and regularly assess and report program performance – outputs and outcomes against set goals.
- Track and measure organizational outputs and outcomes – create and maintain an accessible dashboard with departmental detailed metrics.
- Maintain high-level working knowledge of all program applications to gather data and metrics.
Quality Improvement
- Lead initiatives to identify areas for improvement within the organization’s processes and programs.
- Establish and help institutionalize Quality Improvement methodologies and related best practices within Wellroot.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance the quality of services, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory and accreditation standards.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
- Present findings to staff, leadership and help develop action plans for continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Training
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with all Wellroot departments to identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
- Assist with outreach and training activities as needed.
- Support sustainability efforts and program growth as needed, including initializing processes, procedures, reporting metrics, and outcomes.
- Provide training and support to staff members on Quality Improvement processes and methodologies.
Compliance and Accreditation
- Provide leadership and support to ensure the organization is in compliance with governing body regulations and stay informed about relevant regulations and standards and ensure that Wellroot remains compliant with all applicable standards.
- Manage and facilitate the Wellroot Risk and Compliance Committee work.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to maintain accreditation and certifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent job-related work experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Management).
- Proven experience in performance management and Quality Improvement, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the human services field is helpful.
- Able to learn new technologies
- High proficiency in MS Office applications.
Work Environment:
This position is located at Wellroot district office in Tucker, Georgia, and the work is conducted in an office setting and across the campus. Fast-paced, working with vulnerable clients. The ability to maintain a flexible work schedule which will include evenings and weekends is required. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Usually sits in front of a computer 80% of the time.
