Overall Responsibility: The Director of Product Marketing is a critical role at Telarus responsible for driving the success of a company's product & service portfolio. This individual will lead the product marketing & content efforts and work closely with cross-functional teams such as advanced solutions, supplier management, sales, and marketing to develop and execute strategic plans for Telarus’ services, solutions, and tools which comprise the product suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market & launch strategies for new and existing products, including positioning, messaging, and pricing.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitors, and industry trends.
- Work closely with the marketing, advanced solutions, and supplier management teams to ensure product positioning and messaging align with corporate positioning and marketecture.
- Develop and deliver product training and enablement materials for sales and marketing teams.
- Manage content resources to help deliver on the PMM promise.
- Collaborate with the demand generation team to develop and execute campaigns to generate product demand and awareness.
- Partner with the sales team to develop tools and support materials that help drive revenue.
- Monitor and analyze product performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Five-plus years of experience in product marketing, with at least three years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the indirect sales channel for technology preferred, experience in the channel with TSBs and TSDs, especially
- Strong understanding of the product development process and the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
- Experience in a B2B technology or SaaS company is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
