SUMMARY:
ADT Solar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as the Solar Operations Strategy and Support Director. This fast-paced, exciting role will play a pivotal part in the shape, communication, approach and impact our support teams play in affecting the overall business, its employees, stakeholders, and bottom line. The Strategy and Support Director will lead our teams impacting dealer operations, service, subcontractor programs, training, quality assurance, and safety to name a few. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of solar energy operations, project management, process design and strategic planning.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Operational Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies for assigned support teams, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, customer experience, and field operations (to name a few) in development & delivery of innovative, game-changing support programs that will fuel the overall solar business Strategy and achieve company collective goals.
Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that define successful milestones, highlight achievement, and help in identification of performance gaps.
- Regular analysis and reporting of trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Working knowledge of industry regulations (safety standards, OSHA, environmental laws, construction codes to name a few), trends and best practices.
- Incorporate forward-thinking innovation in process and program design with established industry standards and practices to develop support initiatives that are effective and transformative.

EXPEIRENCE & EDUCATION:
- Minimum five years of construction and/or solar management experience desired
- Experience in process design, training, implementation, follow up, monitoring and measuring impacts.
- Troubleshooting & identifying gaps in performance/procedure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, teams & initiatives.
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Word and project management tools (MS Project) preferred, familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
