Boston Chauffeur, one of the area’s most established and fastest growing chauffeured transportation companies seeks a Director of Operations with an acute attention to detail and superior logistics skills to drive operational efficiency, profitability, and assure exceptional customer experiences.

Major Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate hands on leadership in managing a dispatch team, chauffeur staff, fleet, and facilities personnel to execute trip assignments with precision and professionalism.
• Exercise superior attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, that requires multi-tasking, quick decision-making and timely execution of daily duties and responsibilities.
• Proactively assure trip assignments are performed with precision and professionalism by monitoring dispatch, reservations, and fleet activities continuously.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and processes to optimize efficiency, maximize profitability and assure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflow processes and procedures and streamline ongoing communication.

Team Development:

• Provide proactive daily direction to a diverse team, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service, thru collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, and develop top-tier talent for all areas of the enterprise to ensure the company's success and continued aggressive growth plans.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics for all positions to drive team member productivity and satisfaction to limit staff turnover.

Customer Experience:

• Develop standard operating procedures and processes to assure and quantify the delivery of exceptional customer service that reflects our luxury brand image.
• Implement strategies to measure and guarantee customer satisfaction, and promptly address any service issues to maintain our reputation and limit customer attrition.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage budgets to assure cost controls and profitability goals.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to analyze financial reporting and make data-driven decisions to manage costs and maximize profitability.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of passenger transportation regulations and ensure the company is in full compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality standards to exceed industry requirements.

Technology Proficiency:

• Ability to master all aspects of existing software in use including enterprise dispatch and reservations platform.
• Leverage new technology to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Possess mastery of modern technologies related to fleet management, reservation systems, and other technology tools relevant to the transportation industry.
• Familiarity with emerging trends and innovations in transportation technology.

Strategic Planning:

• Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute the company's annual budget and operational goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for growth, market expansion, and operational improvements.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an operational role within the transportation or related industry with similar logistics characteristics.
• Strong strategic thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• In-depth knowledge of operational best practices and industry trends.
• Financial acumen with a track record of managing budgets effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or equivalent real-world experience in a related field.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120000 per year inclusive of base salary and bonuses

• Monday through Friday, early starters are a plus.
