Director of Nursing - Homecare - Must be a RN

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking to hire an experienced Director of Patient Care Services (a.k.a. Director of Nursing), who Must be a Registered Nurse (RN), in this respective state to work in the specialty area of Home Health.

The Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) / Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for the delivery and coordination of patient care and the application of the nursing process. The RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments and utilize critical thinking in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. As well, the Registered Nurse (RN) will perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. This is a direct hire / 'perm' opportunity.

Territory:

• In office position Monday - Friday, go out in the field only when needed.

Minimum Requirements include:

• Recent experience in Administration working as a Director of Nursing / Director of Patient Care Service or Clinical Supervisor role.
• At least 4 to 5 recent years working in home healthcare.
• Responsible for overall day to day clinical and management of the home health agency ensuring supervision, competency, evaluation and clinical planning for the agency.
• Understands and adheres to all applicable regulations, standards, and federal, state and local laws and established Agency policies and procedures. Following accreditation standards as applicable.
• Ability to understand the financial and business side of operations in order to cover for the Administrator.
• Experience working with both pediatrics and adult populations.
• Homecare Homebase charting experience is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice.
