SalaryAre you passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursinglead the operations of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality client care.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Nursing Service Department consisting of an ADON, LPNs, RNs, and QMAs.
- Performs intake assessments on all clients, timely and complete medical record documentation.
- Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, staff schedule, and manage staff performance.
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance in all communication regarding clients.
- Additional duties as directed.
Requirements:
- BSN or MSN completed from and accredited school of Nursing.
- At least 2 years prior experience as an RN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience
- Experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred.
- Willing to become certified BLS provider obtained within 1 month prior to hire.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, computer literacy and ability to use an EMR.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation: $80,000-$95,000
