The Director of Nursing is a registered professional nurse who ensures quality of patient care in the patients residence.
The primary function of the DON is the overall administration of the clinical departments and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity.
Director of Nursing supervises and provides direction to subordinates, in an effort to ensure quality, compliance with Plan of Care, assessment and reassessment of patients needs and continuity of services by appropriate health care personnel.
Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family and referring agency.
Monitors and analyzes QAPI issues and directs clinical staff with regard to agency policies and procedures. The Director of Nursing monitors QAPI Program and assures appropriate corrective measures are performed.
Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. Current Texas State license as a Registered Nurse, current Texas Drivers License.
Two years experience as a Licensed RN in a clinical care setting preferred, hospice required. Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
**Reliable transportation. RN must have the ability to travel locally.
**Valid and current auto liability insurance.
**Proof of current CPR.
**RN must have the ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary in order to meet patient's needs.
**PRN on call on a rotating basis.

Pay: From $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
