Director of Nursing

Looking for strong nurse who is looking to further career or an experience Director of Nursing in the ASC setting. Ideal candidate has worked in an ambulatory surgery center for several years (prefer OR and PACU skills) and is looking move into leadership role. Strong communication skills, and good clinical skills are a must.

Position duties include:

• Oversee day to day operations of busy upper extremity only orthopedic surgery center
• Develop policies and procedures in conjunction with state regulations and best practices
• Maintain personnel files
• Order supplies and maintain inventory
• Coordinate mandatory education with assistance from charge nurses
• Works closely with Administrator, PACU and OR charge nurses as well as physicians

Qualifications Include:

• RN licensed to practice in the State of Maryland
• 5 years experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (supervisory role a plus)
• Operating Room or Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience a must - both are a plus
• Knowledge of Department of Health, Medicare and AAAHC regulations
• Strong communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
