As WithMe's Director of National Sales, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base within an assigned number of National Multifamily Housing Council Top 50 Managers. You will drive top-level communications to find new and expanded multifamily business opportunities. You will negotiate master service agreements, present product demonstrations, and recommend package options to meet the needs of the client. This role reports to the SVP of Global Sales. This position will work remotely with some travel to trade shows, events, and client/prospect meetings. Although this position is fully remote, the preference would be residence within or near a major metropolitan area.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships with existing and potential clients
- Use a "Hunter" sales mentality to develop new business opportunities
- Actively prospect for new business to build pipeline opportunities
- Complete market research and monitor client/consumer activity
- Utilize resources (ALN, current clients, contacts in the industry, etc) to expand sales opportunities
- Adjust and adapt sales tactics based on tests, results, and new insights
- Respond to executive-level marketing/inbound leads in your named accounts
- Team sell alongside Regional Sales Directors, assisting in product demonstrations and follow-up strategy for your name accounts, utilizing industry contacts to drive opportunities forward
- Log sales activities in a CRM tool (we use Salesforce)
- Research and evaluate property, management company, or owner's needs through questions and research
- Present product demonstrations
- Make recommendations to the client
- Qualify their need and ability to purchase, then place in pipeline appropriately
- Prepare and present master service agreement proposals/quotes/contracts
- Follow up on customer requests and coordinate solutions with required departments/supervisors
To Be Successful
The Director of National Sales will be a self-starter, independent thinker, and team player who is passionate about driving results, and as such, qualified candidates will possess:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of sales experience, with at least five (5) years of experience selling within Multifamily Housing
- Five (5) or more years of experience selling in a national role, with experience creating corporate-level agreements; recent experience and a desire to continue operating in an individual contributor sales role
- Must have an established list of decision-level contacts in the MultiFamily industry
- Experience working for a startup or a scaling culture, possessing a high degree of autonomy
- Possessing the utmost integrity, both with clients and with colleagues
- A resilient and goal-oriented mindset, with a track record of exceeding expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- The ability to maintain high-level teamwork skills:
- a team player, supporting the success of those around you
- possesses and constantly works with others on skills regarding persuasion, negotiation, and closing deals
- exercises a complete teamwork mentality that minimizes friction in crossover accounts

- The compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 Base with an OTE of $200,000 - $225,000
