Job Description: Director of Marketing
Reporting: Position reports to Vice President of Marketing & Training.
CWS Portfolio: 105 properties, 30,000+ A units in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, California, Tennessee, and Washington.
Location: Corporate Office, Plano, Tx
Employee Responsibility: Three marketing department team members report up through this position.

What You Will Do
As the Director of Marketing, the primary focus is to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that effectively promote our brand, engage our target audience, and drive growth for our organization. Just as importantly, we are seeking a candidate who has the background, capacity, and skills to support three marketing department team members. Our expectations are for you to:

Lead our digital marketing initiatives with expertise and innovation.
- Spearhead digital marketing strategies to maximize online visibility and engagement.
- Take ownership of all digital aspects of our marketing efforts, to include but not limited to, SEO, online advertising, email marketing, and website optimization.
- Drive measurable results through data-driven digital marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the creation and execution of Marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social.
- Frequently review the efficacy of our digital advertising to ensure cost- effectiveness and maximum return on investment and make necessary adjustments.
- Present results using clear and compelling data on marketing results, translating complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Nurture and sustain strong partnerships with digital marketing vendors, guaranteeing smooth and effective collaboration.
- Oversee relationships with a diverse range of vendors, including those providing digital services, creative services, collateral materials, and wayfinding solutions, among others.
- Collaborate closely with vendors to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to enhance our digital marketing strategies.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations, proving constructive feedback to ensure that they meet and exceed our expectations for quality and service delivery.
- Establish effective communication channels with vendors to promptly resolve issues and collaboratively identify mutually advantageous solutions, all while proactively communicating their impact within the organization.
- Own third-party marketing integrations, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure the smooth operation of integrated systems and tools.
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and pinpoint opportunities for sustainable growth within the industry.
- Analyze market data and consumer behavior to identify evolving trends that can inform strategic marketing decisions.
- Evaluate strategies and market positioning to uncover gaps and areas for competitive advantages.
- Stay updated on industry publications, reports, and trends to remain at the forefront of market developments.
- Incorporate continuous product testing to ensure we remain competitive in the market and adapt to evolving consumer preferences and industry trends.
Demonstrate outstanding leadership in managing marketing team members, ensuring high-performance standards, continuous improvement, and effective teamwork.
- Hire/manage a team of skilled, capable, and compassionate marketing professionals to assist in achieving our marketing goals.
- Foster a culture of unwavering teamwork, where every team member understands their role. Communicates effectively and supports one another to achieve collective success.
- Skillfully prioritize tasks and objectives based on their significance. Once priorities are set, execute with relentless focus, completing each task at the highest level before moving to the next.
Lead marketing collaborations and serve as the go-to resource for cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring seamless coordination and effective partnerships that contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Collaborate with various departments to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Communicate regularly with the National Marketing Managers to understand market feedback, customer needs, and sales goals, allowing for marketing adjustments to support sales efforts.
- Coordinate efforts with the IT department to leverage technology and data analytics for enhancing marketing campaigns and customer insights.

Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree required, graduate experience a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing.
- Strong knowledge with digital tools (e.g., Google tools, SEO and SEM analytics, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
- Proven experience in market research, advertising, and product management.
- Design and copywriting skills to create compelling advertising for varies marketing mediums.
- Five professional references.
- Experience interacting effectively with team members at all levels of an organization.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
