The Opportunity:
Premier Beauty, a growth-driven distributor of professional haircare products, is on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing at our Northbrook, IL home office. This senior level position, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, presents an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to our digital expansion and support our field sales team.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Digital Footprint Growth:
- Drive the growth of our digital footprint across multiple E commerce channels.
- Collaborate closely with the field sales team to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
Team Development:
- Lead the development and mentorship of our marketing team.
- Manager a team of 4-6 marketing professionals and coordinate with third-party teams.
Strategic Marketing:
- Develop and deploy a robust beauty marketing strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Enhance the E commerce site and cultivate relationships with third-party vendors.
Research and Business Intelligence:
- Implement a comprehensive marketing research strategy.
- Identify and utilize data resources specific to product distribution within the beauty industry.
Department Leadership:
- Oversee departments including Graphic Design, E commerce, Campaign Management, Social Media Channels, Category Marketing and Industry -Specific Direct Mailing.
- May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned to support company growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years’ experience Marketing and Management experience.
- Proven expertise implementing effective departmental structure.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on E commerce.
- Experience with Shopify is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office software and CRM tools (Salesforce, NetSuite or similar programs).
- Knowledge of salon/beauty industry is preferred but not required.
