The Director of Marketing & Communication position is included in an onsite workplace model.
As the Director of Marketing & Communications, essential responsibilities include:
- Lead the process to accumulate applicable and verifiable competitive intelligence.
- Provide leadership in the development of products and pricing.
- Lead and collaborate with others in “creative concepting” to mind-map and develop innovative approaches to marketing and communications.
- Participate in the development, articulation and management of the bank’s brand.
- Lead and collaborate with others to craft public relations approaches and address situational events.
- Leads the development of communications for applications such as the internet, intranet and external media outlets and social media.
- Participate in secondary external information gathering.
- Lead the coordination and execution of key annual events. Work with key internal representatives to continue to build a dynamic and engaged organization focused on community engagement, personal and professional growth.
- Collaborate with Region Presidents, EVP, Commercial Banking, President, STAR Wealth Management and other key division leaders to evaluate growth targets, development tactics, community involvement and external relations for effective execution and communication of STAR brand across multiple delivery channels.
- Collaborate with team members in order to analyze data, develop strategy and tactics to implement the marketing plan and effectively execute and track all campaign deliverables.
- Develop and execute, in partnership with the lines of business and Agency partner, the annual integrated marketing plan and related marketing plans.
- Provide strong, effective and highly visible leadership to the Marketing and Communications team in order to ensure that employees are empowered to identify innovative approaches to enhance STAR’s vision, goals, objectives and organizational performance.
