We are looking for a Director of Marketing to be responsible for developing the strategic vision, overall marketing plan, key messages and story-telling, and campaigns along with the tactical execution of managing our presence, both digital and physical, PR/AR, collateral, and other related activities including product launches, brand promotion, partner and customer initiatives. This position supports our US operations and works collaboratively and in conjunction with our parent company SWARCO based in Europe.
Some of the duties / responsibilities include:
- Align with Group Marketing for the overall marketing strategy.
- Provide website infrastructure and maintain the content together with the marketing team. Provide and manage intranet infrastructure, approve content that the marketing team provided.
- Development and control of online campaigns with and without the support of external service providers.
- Manage the branding and brand appearance, to include enforcing branding guidelines aligned with SWARCO Group Marketing.
- Strategic orientation and overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, design, and implementation of all measures to create all local materials, leaflets, and promotions.
- Establish a clear and aligned external communication together with the team and other stakeholders.
- Build, enhance, and further grow the company's reputation.
- Leadership. Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Mentor, guide, and push the team for optimizations and improvements.
- Travel. Coordinate local marketing plans and task with parent company, SWARCO Group Marketing. Occasional travel to Europe may be required to support this task.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required. Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Transportation, automotive and/or software or other technical background preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing and long-range planning.
- Experience in project management.
- Thorough understanding of market developments, marketing strategies and practices.
- Track record of planning, defining, and directing effective marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to gather information and create compelling written copy for brochures, data sheets, websites, presentations, and proposals.
- Strong sense of graphic presentation principles, ability to create modest graphics or layouts and success with directing development of complex graphics and projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Useful technical skills would include MS Office, database management, analytic tools, i.e. Google, Adobe Creative Suite, social media technology, and CMS ability.
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
- Current and valid passport preferred.
