Director of Housekeeping
RegalCare at Courtyard, a leader in healthcare facility management, is seeking a passionate, dedicated, andbilingualDirector of Housekeeping to oversee our housekeeping department. **The Role:**
As the Director of Housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetics within our facility. You will lead, manage, and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service, comply with regulations, and exceed expectations. Must be bilingual.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures in line with current health and safety standards.
- Manage and train the housekeeping staff, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and service across all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage inventory and procurement of Housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring budget compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to resident care and facility management.
- Respond to feedback from residents and staff regarding housekeeping services, making adjustments as necessary.
**What We're Looking For:**
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to implement compliance measures.
