At the Schaeffer Center, two sources of private philanthropy provide support for research, programs, staff, operations, and fellowships: advisory board members with whom the Center has a longstanding relationship and Foundations with an interest in health policy. The Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations is responsible for supporting the growth of the Schaeffer Center's private philanthropy with a focus on these two revenue sources.
USC is poised for significant growth in health sciences and related health endeavors through a targeted philanthropic campaign to support interdisciplinary collaboration across the university. The Schaeffer Center and Price School will be key stakeholders in this campaign by partnering with other USC schools to seek large grants for research and Corporate support for education and programs. • In collaboration with Schaeffer Center leadership, manage relationships with Schaeffer Center Advisory Board members.
  • Represent the Price School and the Schaeffer Center at meetings, cultivation and fundraising events.
  • Ensure USC Advancement protocols are followed in all aspects of the donor process, including gift processing and acknowledgment, prospecting, soliciting, and stewarding.
