United Church Homes Management is seeking an experienced and dynamic Facility Director of Financial Services to serve at Wexner Heritage Village. This vital and high-profile role demands expertise in managing a broad spectrum of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, costing, and reporting.
Our candidates will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of precision, timeliness, and quality in all financial operations. This position offers a unique blend of high-level strategic financial leadership and hands-on, practical involvement in day-to-day financial activities. Key Responsibilities:
Lead-guide the finance team, overseeing financial operations and fostering talent development.
· Act as the liaison between UCH Management, the senior management of the facility, and the Board of Directors.
· Summarize and consolidate financial activities adhering to GAAP and produce regular financial statements.
· Manage the revenue cycle for private pay residents and coordinate with UCHM for third party payors like Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance companies.
· Supervise daily departmental operations
· Perform annual audits and financial position audits.
· Collaborate in budgeting processes and financial analyses
· Administer departmental staff strategies, including training, performance monitoring, and talent development.
· Conduct detailed analyses of contracts, grants, and other financial undertakings, ensuring adherence to specific fiscal obligations.
· Monitor and ensure compliance with debt covenants.
· Execute internal audits in line with regulatory demands.
· Oversee monthly billings, recording of cash receipts, and processing of claims.
· Negotiate contract terms with insurers and other third-party payors.
· Assist in financial audits and periodically review organizational policies and procedure.
Qualifications:
· 5 years of proven expertise in a high-level financial leadership
· 10 years’ experience in healthcare financial, (Senior Services Related is strongly preferred)
· Deep understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
· Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
· Skilled in collaboration with senior management teams
· Relevant financial or accounting certifications and qualifications.
· Comfort with systems in general, (Workday, MS Office, etc)
