RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide valuable insights and recommendations regarding the company's financial health
• Drive regular finance communication and meetings on a quarterly and monthly basis
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) reporting and reconciliations
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts on a quarterly basis, involving proactive financial modeling
• Manage supply budgeting for three entities and multiple locations, including departmental budgets
• Take ownership of payroll processing using HRIS (Paycom) on a bi-weekly basis
• Manage benefits administration, including annual renewal, review, and all administrative duties
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions, doctor payments, and partner distributions (equity)
• Oversee and maintain positive relationships with vendors and partners to support the company's financial needs

This is a full time, in-person role based in the Houston, TX area

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Current CPA license or Ambulatory Surgical Center and/or Healthcare billing experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Controller, Director/VP of Finance
• 5+ of P&L experience with a minimum of $20M in revenue
• Experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable (AP/AR) with a focus on budgeting
• Proven team leadership experience with up to 5 members
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

• P&L experience with revenue exceeding $50M
• Proficiency in Vendor Relationship Management, including contract negotiations
• Master's degree

Desired:

• Familiarity with Electronic Health/Medical Records (EHR/EMR) systems, specifically Symplast
• Experience with payroll/HRIS systems, specifically PayCom
• Experience in real estate budgeting and deal management
• Ongoing education and professional development

SALARY: $140k - $160k (+ Bonus)
