Job Overview:
We seek a highly experienced and motivated Director of Finance to join our team. As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our Home care Agency. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff (Billing Clerk, Payroll Clerk, Authorization Specialist)
- Responsible for participating in the hiring process, supervision, training, and evaluation of all assigned staff.
- Reviews and oversees daily, monthly, and annual financial transactions, including all financial statements.
- Developing the company’s annual financial plans and projections
- Responsible for filing and participating in the company's tax submission
- Oversee cost analysis of existing and new services, including preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financial and statistical data.
- Responsible for the overall development and maintenance of the cost accounting system.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage accounting personnel and provide ongoing training
- Financial forecasting and planning
- Budgeting per the requirements of individual company departments
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial reporting
- Strong expertise in cash flow analysis and optimization strategies
- Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices
- Demonstrated experience in cost control measures to drive efficiency
- Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts, including capital structure, valuation, and risk management
- Proven track record in budgeting and strategic planning processes
- Ability to prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Experience managing general ledger accounting activities in a complex organizational structure
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
-Must have at least 5 years of homecare finance experience.
