Job Opportunity: Director of Finance Are you an experienced and dedicated finance professional? We're seeking a Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategic planning initiatives, ensuring the fiscal health and sustainability of our organization. As part of our Leadership Team, you'll partner closely with the Executive Director to enhance our quality programming and capacity.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and overseeing the annual budget.
- Implementing effective budgeting strategies.
- Generating accurate financial reports.
- Presenting financial updates to stakeholders.
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Managing cash flow and optimizing utilization.
- Providing financial insights for decision-making.
- Coordinating external audits and filings.
- Developing and enforcing financial policies.
- Contributing to the school's strategic plan.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in finance.
- Two or more years of nonprofit management experience.
- Five or more years of leadership and management experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Desired Qualifications:
- CPA or CFA certification.
- Strong skills in a Mac environment and Google-based applications.
