Responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the overall operation of the Facility Enhancement department including the Fitness Center and Sports Complex to assure the highest level of cleanliness and guest service. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training, and developing the facilities enhancement team.

Essential Job Functions
- Effectively adjusts cleaning regimens based on employee, member and guest feedback
- Maintain a professional and high-quality service oriented environment at all times
- Establishes cleaning and inspection checklists as appropriate and ensure compliance with established procedures
- Trains all new team members on established policies and procedures
- Establish an ongoing common area janitorial schedule for Fitness Center and sports complex
- Purchases all fitness center and sports complex cleaning supplies as set forth by established par levels
- Responsible for scheduling and payroll for Facility Enhancement
- Coordinates an effective cleaning training and janitorial program for the Facility Enhancement and sports complex team
- Insures inventory for all cleaning equipment
- Manages operating expenses and purchasing for department
- Works with Director of Facilities to ensure cleanliness of Sports Complex and Fitness Center
- Provides leadership & guidance to Managers of Hotel & Sports Complex
- Represents company at industry and networking events when appropriate
- Establish an ongoing personal development plan
- Conducts regular team meetings to review Fitness Center and sports complex performance, service scores, successes, and service improvement areas
- Creates improvement plans as necessary to address individual and team areas of opportunity
- Participates (or assigns someone to participate) in the weekly forecast meeting to obtain relevant facility schedule details
- Establishes and cultivates an effective relationship with all other departments
- Effectively communicates all pertinent activities to Facility Enhancement team regarding daily activities, VIP guests, events, and special circumstances
- Assist with annual budget preparation as well as monthly forecasting
- Stays informed of industry trends and happenings through research, networking, and attending industry events
- Be aware and able to enforce all fire-life-safety procedures and remain current in all updates regarding new procedures and training
- All other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English language
- Minimum education of an Associate's Degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a housekeeping, general cleaning or laundry department
- 5+ years in a related cleaning role of large scale and size that includes a hotel operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field
- A positive and friendly attitude towards guest, customers, and fellow employees
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public to serve as liaison to high profile members of the community and the tourism industry
- Ability to safeguard confidential information
- Must be extremely detailed with outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Capability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks at once
- Outstanding demonstration in meeting strict deadlines

- Superior judgment and discretion
- Strong attention to detail, excellent proofreading skill, and a willingness to learn new processes/skills
- High level of computer knowledge including all Microsoft Office programs, booking software and event management software
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical requirements necessary include walking, standing, bending, lifting, sitting, reaching, and typing on a computer for long periods of time
- Ability to work in moderately noisy work environment for long periods of time and communicate effectively in this environment
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion
