Director of Engineering Job Summary:
Our organization is actively seeking a Director of Engineering to be responsible for all the Company's research and product development activities using internal resources and when needed, subject matter experts outside of the Company. We offer yearly performance bonuses!

Director of Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of product development plans dictated by product development specifications and the marshaling of internal and external resources to complete product development through and including the first production run and throughout the product's life cycle in a timely fashion.
- Develop products under your supervision to be manufacturable to strict cost targets.
- Work with the Company's CEO drafting new product specifications in cooperation with marketing/sales and manufacturing.
- Develop engineering product development policies and procedures.
- When requested, shall participate in the drafting or updating of the Company's policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work within the Company in sharing ideas and getting buy-in from stakeholders within the Company that affect the product's ability to be manufactured, sold and supported. This position reports to the CEO of the Company.
Director of Engineering Requirements and Qualifications:
- The Director of Engineering candidates applying for this position shall have spent 10 of your last 15 years personally developing hardware schematics, debugging the hardware and overseeing firmware development implemented in the instrumentation, measurement and monitoring product or products you developed for your current or previous employer(s).
- Within the last five years, the candidate shall have been a group leader, manager, or director/VP for the development of electronic instrumentation, monitoring and measurement products.
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with a cumulative grade point average above 2.75 and will have received a Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
