Satechi is looking for a Head of Ecommerce to lead our Global Ecommerce Team. Reporting directly to the VP of Global Sales & Marketing, this Director-level role will encompass end-to-end management and strategic direction of our Digital Marketing, Satechi.net (DTC), and global Amazon teams. This role will be responsible for optimizing the Shopify and marketplace platform(s), enhancing user experience, and driving online sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ecommerce, Shopify, Amazon Marketplace, inventory management, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
What you will be doing:
Ecommerce Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and management of our Shopify store including chargebacks and order flow.
  • Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized across all ecommerce shopping platforms.
  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to launch new products and create landing pages.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensure product details are kept up to date, and monitor transactions.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
  • Merchandise the site and navigation to drive sales and increase conversions.

Amazon Marketplace

  • Own the delivery of all Amazon Marketplace targets, KPIs, and goals.
  • Serve as a senior level contact for all Amazon related activity and lead daily operations of the Amazon business to maintain profitability, sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide direction, manage, motivate and coach a global team of Marketplace Leaders and Specialists.
  • Along with the Senior Marketplace Manager, articulate the key needs of Amazon back to the broader business unit and organization.
  • In coordination with Satechi’s global promotional calendar and MAP Policy, plan, and manage the execution of Amazon sponsored products campaigns and Amazon promotions.


User Experience Enhancement:

  • Continuously improve the user experience by optimizing website design and functionality.
  • Implement A/B testing to enhance product page layouts, navigation, and checkout processes.
  • Address user feedback and resolve any website-related issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the Customer Support team to ensure customers are getting the best and most up to date information on the site.

Digital Marketing:

  • Lead the digital marketing team to develop and execute effective online marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the creation of landing pages and promotional content on Shopify & StoryBlok.
  • Analyze customer behavior and use data to improve marketing strategies.
  • Use your experience and knowledge to help guide the company’s digital marketing strategy

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to website traffic, conversion rates, and sales.
  • Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of Ecommerce initiatives.
  • Use data insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements.

Leadership:

  • Manage and lead members of the Ecommerce, Amazon, and Digital Marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the Customer Support team to ensure customers are getting the best and most up to date information on the site.
  • Lead by example by being responsible, respectful, and following through on assigned tasks


Technology:

  • Understand versioning and the process or building pages and widgets in a headless environment.
  • Working knowledge or Shopify, StoryBlok or other headless partner, SEMrush, Algolia, GA4, and other apps as needed.


Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, programming, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of Ecommerce best practices, SEO, and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in Shopify administration, including order management, A/B testing, headless technology, content creation, and app integration.
  • Curious and entrepreneurial leader that stays abreast of industry trends, able to set a vision, orchestrate a process to execute on that plan, and influence and inspire others to believe.
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing e-Commerce revenues via Digital Marketing Best Practices, DTC, and Amazon in an Omni-channel business model with annual revenue $50M+
  • Strong website and consumer analytic skills, including the ability to link site design and features to strategic objectives and the ability to use the data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to communicate across the entire organization
  • Creative, with an eye to develop new and innovative solutions
  • Strong team player, able to work successfully across multiple business functions in a fast-paced environment

The pay range for this position in California is $125,000 – $165,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
