JOB SUMMARY:
Prisma offers a robust B2B storefront solution to clients. This solution provides customized print and order fulfillment services. The role of the E-Commerce Director is to provide strategy and oversee ongoing department operations. The manager will steer future development and ensure we provide best-in-class service and support.
KEY JOB RESPONSBILITIES
- Provide leadership to three teams and their daily operations:
- Technology Account Managers (TAM)
- Web-to-Print programming team (W2P)
- Development Team
- Establish priorities and project management to ensure short and long-term commitments are completed on schedule:
- Assess and determine priorities for development and point releases.
- Oversee client onboarding experience
- Manage migration of existing sites to new software versions
- Stay closely connected with Sales, Manufacturing and Accounting on integration points and successful internal workflow
- Attend client meetings and provide SME support to outside departments
- Assess and provide recommendations and roadmap for future development:
- Assess marketplace and identify features needed to service clients well.
- Work with UX designers to add features that create positive client experience, site entry through checkout.
- Review website performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure website is fully optimized for different devices and platforms
- Establish and maintain QA processes for site launches and software releases.
- Take responsibility for the department’s financial performance. Review SOWs, hours and maintenance fees to make sure we are capturing and billing work performed.
- Recommend software, tools and training to keep the department at the forefront of the industry
- Plan ongoing employee development and training
SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
5 yrs experience in E-Commerce site management. Previous print/fulfillment systems experience desired.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations and general trade periodicals. Also, you must have the ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from employees and management.
