Director of Dining Services

The Reserve At Towne Lake is seeking an experienced, compassionate and driven Dining Services Director to join our family owned facility.

Reserve at Towne Lake is located in the heart of Cherokee County and provides a supportive home for people with memory disorders who need a caring, safe and comforting environment. We create an atmosphere of family living and provide each of our residents with dignified and compassionate individualized care. Our experienced caregivers help residents and their families cope with memory loss and related issues.

Job description

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of Dining Services, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations

- Manage a team of Dining staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards

- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events

- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner

- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies

- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability

Skills:

- ALF/Memory Care experience preferred

- Strong food service management skills

- Experience in kitchen management and food safety practices

- Ability to effectively manage shifts and allocate resources

- Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment handling

- Excellent interviewing and team management skills
