We are looking for a Director of Corporate Strategy & Initiatives

Responsible for playing a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic direction and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning support, process optimization, initiative management, communication facilitation, board and stakeholder relations, and project management. You will work closely with the CEO and departmental leadership to refine the company's strategic vision, aligning goals across departments, conducting research, and analyzing data to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Strategic Planning Support:

  • Assist the CEO in developing and refining the company's strategic vision and goals.
  • Coordinate strategic planning sessions and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work with department leadership to shape long term strategies for the department.
  • Understand, report and manage organization and team level KPIs.
  • Manage the strategic agenda of the leadership team.
  • Clarify and oversee connection points and initiatives across departments.

2.) Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess the company's performance against strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency, working cross-functionally to implement solutions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of organizational initiatives and special projects.

3.) Initiative Management:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to achieve key business objectives.
  • Establish clear goals, milestones, and performance metrics for each initiative.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Monitor progress, evaluate results, and make adjustments as necessary to drive continuous improvement.

4.) Communication Facilitation:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.
  • Prepare and distribute communication materials, including presentations, reports, and memos.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication flow between the CEO's office and other departments.

5.) Board and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Represent the CEO in meetings with the board of directors, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare briefing materials and presentations for board meetings and other stakeholder engagements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

6.) Project Management:

  • Manage special projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Alignment of company initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Efficiency gains achieved through process improvements.
  • Effectiveness of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive feedback from the CEO and other senior leaders.
  • Successful completion of projects and initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Ability to navigate and mitigate crises effectively.
  • Progress in leadership development and succession planning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in a Chief of Staff role or similar executive support position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Leadership experience and a track record of driving results.
