We are currently hiring for:

Job Title:Director of Convenience Store Sales

Job Summary:The Director of Convenience Store Sales is responsible for driving profitable growth within the C-Store channel. The position is responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan for our current and targeted new customers. The position reports to the VP of Retail Sales and Customer Service and works closely with marketing, R&D, Business Development and Project Management to deliver on customer expectations. Position is responsible for achievement of volume, revenue, and profit contribution for assigned customers. Position is responsible for providing a best in class customer experience for all current and targeted customers.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Development

  • Researches and Identifies appropriate target customers.
  • Builds relationships with targeted customer decision makers via in person and virtual meetings, presentations, industry events, shows, and conferences.
  • Works with marketing to provide consumer and industry insights based on customer needs.
  • Provides analysis and reporting on business results versus established objectives.
  • Leverages prior experience and customer contacts.
  • Overseas development and execution of customer agreements, contracts, and information requirements.


New Product Development

  • Works as project champion with a cross functional team to develop product concepts to meet customer needs.
  • Coordinates and communicates with customers on product specifications, pricing, and sample requirements.
  • Communicates customer input to cross functional WLF teams.
  • Works with marketing on coordination of packaging development.
  • Communicates production plans and timing with customers.


Marketing Activity

  • Works with marketing to identify customer research and insights needsand coordinate dissemination to customers.
  • Coordinates with marketing to develop engaging customer presentations.


Administration

  • Manages input and upkeep of all customer activity in Salesforce.
  • Keeps the internal team updated on active customer projects.
  • Manages travel and related expense budgets
  • All other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the C-Store Sales channel with a demonstrated track record of delivering results.
  • Protein/Meat industry experience is preferred.
  • Sales experience working with: 7-Eleven, Casey's, Kum $ Go.
  • Knowledge of UKG or other timekeeping systems is a benefit.
  • Must be able to problem solve.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Must be able to solve problems.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Coaching and performance management experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
