The Customer Experience organization in Corporate Marketing is looking for a Director of Content Supply Chain to spearhead the end-to-end management of Content workflows and content process optimization across diverse stakeholders to ensure seamless, high-quality content delivery aligned with strategic content goals.

Our team believes in connecting with customers at scale, supporting them at each stage of the customer journey, from early awareness and consideration, to try and buy, all the way through onboarding and post purchase engagement. You will be in the middle of it all, leading a team who is chartered with ensuring a seamless flow of Content—from ideation and creation to distribution and retirement.

 

Responsibilities include:

· Lead and inspire a team; champion team growth and development, foster resilience, and promote a culture of adaptability and collaboration.

· Define, document, and oversee the end-to-end Content Supply Chain.

· Streamline and optimize content workflows for efficiency and quality, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.

· Foster strong relationships with content strategists, creators, contributors, and editors, and other stakeholders to align content production with strategic goals.

· Implement quality control measures to maintain consistent and high-quality content across all channels.

· Oversee the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and creation to retirement, ensuring relevance and compliance.

· Evaluate, implement, and manage tools and technologies that enhance content production, distribution, and performance tracking.

· Establish and enforce content governance policies to ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards.

· Support effective content distribution across various platforms and channels.

· Identify and mitigate risks related to content production, distribution, and compliance.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the Content Supply Chain remains innovative and competitive.

 

Basic qualifications:

· 6+ years of relevant experience

· Deep understanding of the content lifecycle at enterprise scale

· Expert knowledge of enterprise Content Supply Chain tools

Preferred qualifications

· Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Recognized as a self-starter with a bias for action.

· Creative problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset approach

· Experience managing across highly matrixed organizations, often with competing priorities.

· Deep understanding of Content disciplines, including SEO, content strategy, and execution.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
