Director Of Clinical Services

The Hospice Director of Clinical Services is a registered nurse who oversees all aspects of end-of-life care. They have expertise in managing pain and symptoms, and previous experience in hospice nursing. Additionally, the Director supervises the staff, manages documentation requirements, and oversees service coordination and case management. They must have excellent communication skills, and be able to provide an effective, supportive, and sensitive approach to the needs of the employees, patients, and their families.

The Hospice Director of Clinical Services is responsible for supervising daily office and clinical operations, coordinating and delivering interdisciplinary team interventions, and assigning appropriate staff members to patients/families. They may also act as a staff nurse when necessary, and participate in community awareness and education programs.

To qualify for this role, candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment, have a minimum of two years of nursing experience within the past 36 months, and one year of experience in a hospice setting. They should also have a thorough understanding of the federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing hospice operations, and be competent with computers.

$90,000 - $115,000 a year
