Job description

At Delta Faucet Company, we're driven by a bold mission: to become the foremost leader in branded products for kitchens and baths. We're seeking a transformational leader who will not only explore New Business opportunities but also develop groundbreaking concepts that will fuel DFC's support for this mission and propel us towards future growth. We believe in asking "how might we" and exploring "what if" scenarios to unlock innovative solutions. Your role will be pivotal in crafting a credible and comprehensive roadmap for success, ensuring that our core business continues to thrive and excel in the market. Join us in shaping the future of kitchen and bath products and making a meaningful impact on our industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across the organization and with our dynamic team to spearhead explorations into targeted categories, territories, and revenue streams.

  • Develop robust plans to test and validate commercial viability, demonstrating both DFC's expertise and industry best practices.

  • Harness the power of external innovation partners to accelerate learning and market testing, strategically deciding when to build, borrow, or buy new capabilities.

  • Lead ideation and visioning efforts, generating fresh perspectives that translate into growth opportunities and competitive advantages in the marketplace.

  • Inspire and motivate your team to achieve high performance, influencing the broader organization to embrace new ways of working.

  • Drive innovation projects from concept ideation to execution, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet complex challenges with imaginative and feasible solutions.

  • Communicate effectively, synthesizing reports and creating compelling documentation to educate and inform internal partners about new innovations.

  • Establish yourself as an inspiring leader in the industry, sharing insights and standard methodologies to facilitate the transition of innovations into the core of Delta Faucet Company.

Metrics:

  • Measure the value of our innovation growth pipeline.

  • Track the success rate of concepts transitioned to the core business.

  • Monitor the number of ideas generated that align with our vision and target territories.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership and a deep understanding of consumer needs and trends.

  • Strong intuition for business with the ability to develop and communicate compelling cases to key customers.

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, driving transformational projects with a bias for commercialization.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.

  • Track record of casting a compelling vision that motivates teams to action and achieves results.

  • Human behaviors: Stretch yourself and others, see around the corner, cultivate breakthrough thinking, make informed decisions, and simplify the complex.

Join us at Delta Faucet Company and be part of a team that is redefining the future of our industry.
