Director, Mrr Solutions

As Director of MRR Solutions, you will lead projects and initiatives that support the growth and advancement of Medical Record Retrieval (MRR) risk adjustment coding, and HEDIS abstraction.  You will be responsible for evaluating, proposing, initiating, and executing solutions needed by our clients that are not currently available in our products or services but can be accommodated if we leverage our skills, experience, resources, and commitment. 

The Director of MRR Solutions will drive strategy and advancements in what MRR is able to do beyond the Product Roadmap to capitalize on emerging opportunities.  This individual will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on MRR coding, operations, and analytics for Medicare and Commercial ACA lines of business.  HEDIS/quality experience is a plus.  Depending on the company’s revenue growth, this position may also have direct reports and lead a team to achieve these goals in the future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform demos and provide sales/ marketing support for MRR coding platform, operations, dashboards, reports, analytics, and metrics.
• Act as a cross-functional liaison between the Client Executives, Product, Solutions, and Operations to support MRR projects, operations, and activities.
• Serve as a hands-on data analyst for Medicare and Commercial ACA risk adjustment analytics to support analytics and/or coding clients.
• Determine MRR project ROI for both analytics and non-analytics clients to develop and advance Advantmed’s MRR value story.
• Research coding project data, operations, and performance issues that impacts client satisfaction and negatively impacts our value story.
• Collaborate with divisional team leaders to find solutions to MRR client issues, including leading discovery, analytics, problem solving, and issue resolution.
• Lead discussion in client meetings serving as an SME in risk adjustment and MRR solutions to meet client goals.
• Assist with preparation of analytics, metrics, ROI, and strategy for MRR client Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Annual Business Reviews (ABRs).
• Research, propose, initiate and execute integration between MRR and Analytics in order to better serve our clients.
• Be a knowledgeable resource on HEDIS/quality and provide needed client, analytics, and operational support, particularly during HEDIS season.
• Support MRR Solutions enhancements and product roadmap with industry knowledge and expertise to continually improve Advantmed’s competitive offering.
• Perform QA of analytics and MRR Solutions and enhancements to ensure product excellence and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of experience in risk adjustment, risk analytics, and medical record retrieval and coding service and operations. 
• 5+ years of experience supporting risk adjustment analytics and risk adjustment coding clients, including being an active participant in client calls.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience writing SQL and performing risk adjustment analytics for Medicare and/or Commercial ACA lines of business.
• 3+ years of experience performing client demos for sales presentations and training of analytics or coding platforms.
• Strong track record of success in supporting risk analytics and medical coding client integration and problem resolution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to lead both internal and external meetings to assist sales/marketing or to provide client support.
• Ability to manage a team of data analysts and subject matter experts to support MRR Solutions for Advantmed’s growing business.
