What experience you need to have
- Master's degree in education or equivalent
- Experience leading teacher/leader evaluation protocols
- Minimum 5 years of educational leadership experience at school base or central office in a K-12 system
- Business acumen/ experience
- Experience in working with School Boards and Central office decision makers
- Preferred: Experience in Marzano Evaluation Model
- Preferred: Ph. D or Ed. D in educational field relevant to scope of work

What you will do:
The Director, Marzano Evaluation Center (MEC) is responsible for ensuring highly effective field management, growth, and partnership expansion of the MEC scope of work. The role of the Director includes working with internal and external partners for continuous improvement and expansion of partner adoptions. The Director utilizes internal data and information gathered from the field to inform organizational actions and growth; grows the faculty ensuring high-quality facilitation, accuracy, and effectiveness and collaborates with internal partners to continually monitor and measure implementation results.
The Director is responsible for collaboration with the Sales team. Acting as the subject matter expert, the Director will participate in customer calls to expand the use of the MEC evaluation systems. The director is responsible for inter-rater reliability of the faculty and the onboarding of new staff.
Essential Functions
- Be the subject matter expert for Marzano Evaluation Center (MEC) content.
- Advocate for MEC solutions to existing and prospective customers.
- Stay current on national and state trends in teacher/leader evaluation.
- Conduct MEC data analysis reviews with Districts to provide opportunities for next steps to be informed by data.
- Provide onsite/virtual support to internal and external customers for implementation success.
- Actively work with cross functional teams (sales, marketing, school advancement) to expand the MEC scope of work
- Drive the continuous improvement of the MEC by seeking more effective and efficient ways of work..
- Develop and provide training for IE faculty in the MEC scope of work.
- Work with partner districts to support the alignment of MEC work with improved student achievement.
- Fully own MEC contracts to ensure comprehensive quality delivery with shared fiscal responsibility.
- Gather voice of customer through feedback opportunities to enhance and grow practice area.
- Deliver/Facilitate sessions within MEC scope of work.
- Identify faculty who may have leadership qualities for succession/expansion planning; act as referral and/or reference for Faculty Acquisition
- Act with field faculty to mitigate challenges and obstacles.
- Key Measures include growth of the MEC work in current partner districts, addition of new district business and delivery of comprehensive portfolio of updated MEC design.
