- Extensive knowledge of VMWare
- Knowledge of firewall and networking devices required
- Experience with Syspro a plus, but not required (experience with ERP systems preferred)
- Experience with operating security products (EDR/AV/PIM/MFA/Zero Trust, etc.)
- Knowledge of cyber security best practices, especially NIST and CMMC requirements
- College degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience
- Relevant industry certifications a plus
Position Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN and WAN and all hardware/software on the networks
- Manage IT projects and directives, working with stakeholders, users, vendors
- Identify technology needs, stay up-to-date on new technologies, and make recommendations to business decision-makers
- Manage IT team
- Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to teach employees on new features
- Lead the IT team in providing excellent support and service to fellow employees
- Develop network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime
- Work closely with other department managers to assess the growth needs of the company's network
