In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support across various functions, and be responsible for handling day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, talent acquisition, training, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. The role will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to employee onboarding/offboarding, employee records maintenance, and compliance with HR policies and procedures as well as employment laws and regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees providing guidance and resolution on various HR-related issues. Investigate and address employee concerns, as needed.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and implement performance management strategies that reflect company goals and values. Coach and support managers in delivering effective performance feedback and conducting performance reviews.
- Manage terminations and layoffs, including conducting exit interviews of voluntary terminations and preparation of termination letters. Analyze any trends and share feedback with manager and team leaders.
- Conduct regular assessments of HR processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the identification of skills gaps and development needs within groups that the Corporate Human Resources team covers. Recommend appropriate training and development programs to address gaps.
- Use HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to implement organizational changes and initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation for regulatory purposes.
- Supervise the completion and filing of governmental reports like the EEO-1, as needed.
- Attend trainings and seminars to stay current on Human Resources laws, legislation, and trends.
- Provide assistance in other HR areas as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years' experience in Human Resources.
