Job Title:Human Resources Director
Viva Eve, New York's premier health destination for women, is hiring a Director of Human Resources.

Job Description:
Viva Eve is seeking a Human Resources Director who shares these values and relishes the opportunity to champion them. The ideal candidate will lead the Human Resources department within the healthcare setting, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan
- Oversee employee development and retention; training and development; and benefits administration.
- Manage, engage and mentor staff
Employee Relations
- Live the values of the company and act as a role model for employee concerns
- Foster positive employee relations by promoting a healthy work environment and providing guidance on interpersonal issues.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Champion diversity and inclusion efforts within the organization.
Performance Management
- Administer performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and address performance-related issues.
Total Rewards
- Oversee benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
- Design competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Policy Development and Compliance
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare industry regulations.
Training and Development
- Lead change management initiatives and organizational development strategies.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.
- Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics and compliance issues.
HR Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare regular HR reports and analytics to assess key performance indicators and provide insights for decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure HRIS data integrity and administration
Health and Safety
- Collaborate with safety and health committees to ensure a safe work environment.
- Monitor and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of HR experience in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience as an HR leader, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, employment law and compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ideal Experience:
- Experience with a rapidly growing business where you lead net new initiatives from conception to implementation
- Certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP are a plus.
- Experience with compensation and leveling
- Empathetic and intuitive leader with high emotional intelligence
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Base Salary: $135-170,000
