Director, Global Trade Compliance:

Kenvue is currently recruiting for Director, Global Trade Compliance.  This position reports into Chief Trade Compliance Officer and is based at Skillman NJ but also open to remote. 

The Director, Global Trade Compliance is responsible for being a part of Kenvue's Legal & Compliance organization supporting multiple functions across Kenvue.  

  • Responsibilities

  • Govern process documentation structure, including developing policies, procedures, and guidelines supporting Global Trade Compliance standards. 
  • Advise the business on evolving and existing cross-border trade regulations
  • Ensure global processes are maintained to meet internal changes and external regulations.
  • Support global implementation of import and export data and technology solutions
  • Develop and implement metrics and KPI's for the Global Trade Compliance program performance and report overall program status
  • Assess Trade Compliance program for maturity against benchmarks, advise on capability gaps, and ensure adequate gap closure plans are implemented. Shape and manage the Global Trade Compliance audit and risk management program, including escalation management, MAP oversight and related technologies. 
  • Build outstanding partnerships and relationships across affiliate/regional/global teams to scout business opportunities and translate them into solutions
  • Provide advisory support to regional Trade Compliance teams
  • Partner to support Trade Compliance projects, programs, or initiatives cross company ensuring new standards are understood and deployed
  • Develop and maintain Trade Compliance training program including general awareness, technical training, and job required training curriculums. 

What we are looking for  

  • Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree is required
  • Minimum 10 years of Global Trade Compliance experience in a highly regulated industry required
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Prior experience with Global Trade management systems such as SAP GTS, E2Open, or similar systems.
  • Experience developing global standards and policies, as well as compliance targets and metrics to track success of the Trade Compliance program.
  • Experience interacting and collaborating with teams across business functions and regions.
  • The successful candidate will have a positive approach, excellent strategic and analytical skills, and strong interpersonal skills, and will be comfortable interacting with senior business leaders.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing skills to inspire trust and effectively build relationships is required.
  •  Proven experience in driving decisions and results in a highly complex and rapidly changing environment
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or Trade Compliance certification
  • Experience in CPG industry
